Based on the MOU cooperation program between UTC2 (University of Transportation and Communication, campus in Ho Chi Min city, Vietnam) and Feng Chia University (FCU), a delegation 11 Professors from FCU led by Dean Lin Liang Tay, the Dean of College of Construction and Development, go to Vietnam to attend and co-host the International Conference on Building Smart Cities in Vietnam – Vision and Solutions which take place on Sept 05, 2018. GIS.FCU director, professor Chou Tien Yin (Jimmy Chou) has been invited to deliver a Keynote Speech: "Smart city Implementation through Standards and Interoperability for Natural Disaster Monitoring.” In addition, Prof Jimmy Chou took Dr Van and his PhD student Tran Quang Tuan to report their research and attend the exhibition, showing the SkyEyes - Driving Warning Device, and Debris Flow Monitoring Station, UAV demo.
