Under the impacts of global warming and climate change, the complex geological environments, climate conditions, and continued change of land use/land cover in mountain regions have made it more challenging to predict mountainous hazards and their impacts on communities. The INTERPRAEVENT 2022 Symposium will take place in National Chung Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan. The symposium will last for five days, from 17-21 October in 2022.
The main topic of INTERPRAEVENT 2022 International Symposium, “Natural Disasters Occurrence, Reduction, and Restoration in Mountain Regions” is focused on natural hazards from the aspects of field investigation, occurrence monitoring, mitigation strategy, risks analysis, engineering governance, resilient community, and ecological restoration.
We sincerely invite you to submit research articles and/or extended abstracts to the symposium. Your participance is the most welcome for the success of the great event!
