GIS.FCU is the first GIS research department in Taiwan that has passed the ISO international quality assurance certification, GIS.FCU also passed the ISO 27001 information security management and ISO 27701 international standards for privacy information management, providing customers with the best quality and safe information services.

The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) approved GIS Group as the first OGC Compliance Testing Center in Asia in 2010, the professional capabilities have been recognized internationally. In terms of research and development technology, more than 50 patents have been accumulated in the fields of map system, smart disaster prevention, smart transportation, AR/VR virtual reality, UAV, and digital learning.
