The 111th OGC TC/PC Meeting was held in Leuven, Belgium during Jun 24 to 28, Prof. Jimmy lead the team as the representative of OGC principle member. During this event, Prof. Jimmy was elected as the co-chair of GeoAI Domain Working Group and will continue to contribute the efforts to the AI domain of the geospatial world.
During the meeting, GIS.FCU represented various research results including Prof. Jimmy presented “GeoAI Applications and related technologies in Taiwan” in GeoAI DWG; Dr. How presented “Datacube establishment and application in Taiwan” in Coverage DWG; Sr. engineer Ricky presented “Smart UAV Detection and Establishing Safe Flying Environment” in UxS and D&I DWG, and “Status Update of SWE Testing Suits” in SWE DWG.
GIS.FCU team also discussed some cooperation opportunities with various participants including the cooperation of promoting DataCube in Taiwan with Rasdaman GmbH.; continue working on the project of PointCloud annotation system with AIST; discuss ideas of promoting validations of OGC standards in Taiwan with CITE team. Through these physical cooperations, GIS.FCU will continue working on helping the geospatial world to make location count.
