The President Yao-Min Fang of Focus Intelligent Technology, GIS.FCU spin-off company, and Senior Vice President Ming-Chang Tsai, along with the head of the Department of Water Resources of the Taoyuan City government, attended the 15th CityNet 2023 Disaster Cluster Seminar in Makati City, Philippines!
On this rare opportunity, we visited the Makati City Disaster Response Center. We engaged in discussions with the Mayor of Makati, sharing the experiences of the Taoyuan City Government in disaster response. After the meeting, we witnessed an impressively realistic disaster drill in Makati City.
At the forum, President Fang was invited to present on the topic of ” Development of Disaster Reduction of Smart Cloud System in Taoyuan City”, demonstrating Taoyuan City’s strength and achievements in technological disaster response to the delegates. This was highly praised by the representatives of various cities, showcasing Taiwan’s leading position in disaster management and technological applications.
This exchange provided us with a valuable learning opportunity and brought more opportunities and possibilities for cooperation between Taoyuan City, Focus Intelligent Technology, and disaster prevention units in cities worldwide. We firmly believe that through intelligent technology, we can further enhance our disaster management capabilities and assist governments in protecting the safety of people’s lives and property.
